What We Believe

We are a school that believes that God of the Holy Bible is the Lord over all His creation. That means that whenever the creation is studied, it always needs to be done from a Christian perspective. Each subject is approached from a perspective that maintains God as creator and sustainer, that humans are sinful and in need of Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and Jesus is coming back to the earth to make all things new again. Students are encouraged to respond to the call to live in love and obedience to God!

Statement of Educational Principles

1. GOD

We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, and existing in three equal persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This only living and true God has revealed Himself in the Holy Scriptures.

2. KINGDOM OF GOD

We believe that the rule of Jesus Christ over all creation establishers the Kingdom of God. Being redeemed by Christ, we are urgently called to uphold and further this recognition of Christ's lordship in all areas of life.

3. CHRIST

We believe that the Christ of the Scriptures, truly God and fully man, redeems and renews all of life, including education, from the power of sin. Through His Sprit He renews our heart to accept and love God and our neighbour, and redirects our understanding to rightly know God, ourselves and the world. WE confess? His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His substitution death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension in to heaven, His work of intercession, His power to restore man by His redemptive work on Calvary, His visible return to earth, His final judgement of all men, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal punishment of the unbeliever.

4. HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that knowledge and acceptance of God, of the Bible and of creation, is the work of the Holy Sprit in man's heart. He sees us as we really are and directs us to educate in accordance with the Bible.

5. CREATION

We believe, in their education, children must come to learn that the world and man's calling in it, can be rightly understood only in its relation to the Triune God, who by His creation, restoration, and governance directs all things to the coming of His kingdom and the clarification of His name.

6. MAN

We believe that man was created in the image of God to enjoy fellowship with His Creator and to reflect in his person and work, the Excellencies of his Maker. Furthermore, man is instructed to exercise dominion over the world in strict and loving obedience to God. He is to interpret all of creation and educate children in accordance with His design and love.

7. LIFE

We believe that human life in its entirely essentially involves and relationship with God, for God created man to serve Him everywhere. Education is therefore never neutral but unfolds either in obedience or disobedience to God.

8. SIN

We believe that through the instigation of the Devil, man yielded to temptation, wilfully disobeying God, and brought God's curse upon the creation. As a result, man is separated from God and his neighbour, is corrupt in hear, and is blind to the true meaning of life, repressing and misusing the knowledge of God, which confronts him in creation, and the Bible.

9. SALVATION

We believe that salvation from sin and condemnation is by God's grace along through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; this faith in instilled in us by the Holy Spirit.

10. BELIEVER

We believe that a person is a believer when, by a true faith, he trusts in Christ along for his salvation, is born again through the power of the Holy Sprit, and through being in Christ bears the fruit of the Spirit.
