What We Believe
We are a school that believes that God of the Holy Bible is the Lord over all His creation. That means that whenever the creation is studied, it always needs to be done from a Christian perspective. Each subject is approached from a perspective that maintains God as creator and sustainer, that humans are sinful and in need of Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and Jesus is coming back to the earth to make all things new again. Students are encouraged to respond to the call to live in love and obedience to God!

Statement of Educational Principles
1. GOD
We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, and existing in three equal persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This only living and true God has revealed Himself in the Holy Scriptures.
2. KINGDOM OF GOD
We believe that the rule of Jesus Christ over all creation establishers the Kingdom of God. Being redeemed by Christ, we are urgently called to uphold and further this recognition of Christ's lordship in all areas of life.
3. CHRIST
We believe that the Christ of the Scriptures, truly God and fully man, redeems and renews all of life, including education, from the power of sin. Through His Sprit He renews our heart to accept and love God and our neighbour, and redirects our understanding to rightly know God, ourselves and the world. WE confess? His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His substitution death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension in to heaven, His work of intercession, His power to restore man by His redemptive work on Calvary, His visible return to earth, His final judgement of all men, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal punishment of the unbeliever.
4. HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that knowledge and acceptance of God, of the Bible and of creation, is the work of the Holy Sprit in man's heart. He sees us as we really are and directs us to educate in accordance with the Bible.
5. CREATION
We believe, in their education, children must come to learn that the world and man's calling in it, can be rightly understood only in its relation to the Triune God, who by His creation, restoration, and governance directs all things to the coming of His kingdom and the clarification of His name.
6. MAN
We believe that man was created in the image of God to enjoy fellowship with His Creator and to reflect in his person and work, the Excellencies of his Maker. Furthermore, man is instructed to exercise dominion over the world in strict and loving obedience to God. He is to interpret all of creation and educate children in accordance with His design and love.
7. LIFE
We believe that human life in its entirely essentially involves and relationship with God, for God created man to serve Him everywhere. Education is therefore never neutral but unfolds either in obedience or disobedience to God.
8. SIN
We believe that through the instigation of the Devil, man yielded to temptation, wilfully disobeying God, and brought God's curse upon the creation. As a result, man is separated from God and his neighbour, is corrupt in hear, and is blind to the true meaning of life, repressing and misusing the knowledge of God, which confronts him in creation, and the Bible.
9. SALVATION
We believe that salvation from sin and condemnation is by God's grace along through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; this faith in instilled in us by the Holy Spirit.
10. BELIEVER
We believe that a person is a believer when, by a true faith, he trusts in Christ along for his salvation, is born again through the power of the Holy Sprit, and through being in Christ bears the fruit of the Spirit.
a. PARENT
- We believe that believing parents have the God-given responsibility to teach their children the will and fear of God and to nurture the faith that God, in His own way and time, will graciously instil within their hearts. This can most effectively be carried our through a Christian School.
b. CHILD
- We believe that the child entrusted by God to parents needs direction, correction, and instruction. Children of the Christian home share in the promises of the Gospel and are entitled to a Christian education.
c. TEACHER
- We believe that the teacher, through the Grace of God, must reflect at all times, by word and example, the love of Christ and honour of God. In exercising this God-given task, the teacher is accountable to the parents through the Board of Directors.
11. The CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
We believe that the school is an extension of the home and therefore of parental responsibility. The school is and institution maintained by a membership mad e up of a community of Christian who adhere to the principles of the Constitution. The school is and institution, which educates children in a atmosphere of love for and obedience to God's will and in accordance with the truths of the Bible. The school shall strive to maintain academic standards and will adhere to the legal requirements of the province of Ontario as pertains to education. The school is not subject to and ecclesiastical organization.
12. OBJECTIVES OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
We believe that the objectives of Christian education are:
- a. To encourage the child to commit his heart to Christ and to engender and integral Christian view of life and reality; a Biblical way of looking at all of experience.
b. To help the child to attain responsible maturity grounded in a Biblical faith and to direct and guide him to unfold his individual potential so that he can take up his specific responsibilities and vocations in life in a manner pleasing to the Lord.
13. CHRISTIAN UNITY
We believe that because of the directives of 1 Corinthians 13 and because of the unique nature of the school as being inter-denominational in character, we believe that harmony and unity are fundamental goals of the school. It is the privilege not only of the parents but also of the Christian community to establish and maintain Christian school; to pray for, work for, and support them generously.
