What is the TRIP program?
(Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)
TRIP is a program designed for families to receive a reduction in their tuition by purchasing gift cards through the school from various merchants.
How does the program work?
Through TRIP, bulk quantities of gift certificates from grocery stores, restaurants and many other businesses are purchased at a discount. The certificates are then sold to participating families at face value. 40% of the discount is passed on to families in the form of a tuition credit, 50% goes toward the school budget, and 10% goes to costs for the program.
TRIP participants may also place orders for relatives or friends. Family and friends may register their own TRIP account, and they may designate any one or more accounts to receive the credits for the entire year.

Who can participate?
Anyone! Parents, grandparents, friends and coworkers are all welcome to be involved with TRIP. You need not have a student enrolled in the Stratford District Christian School to participate. Registrants may direct tuition credit they earn to their own personal account, the account of another family, or to the SDCS Tuition Assistance Fund which provides need-based financial aid awards to current families.
What if my child is not yet attending school?
Young families who intend to send their children to SDCS in the future are encouraged to join the program now. The money earned toward tuition will be held in their account until the child is enrolled. The total earnings will then be deducted the first year the child attends SDCS. If your family relocates and your child enrolls in another OACS school, the tuition credit you have accumulated is transferable to that school.
However, be aware that being in the TRIP program does not guarantee placement of the child when it is time for enrolment. Normal admissions procedures and policies will still be followed.
